Cranston RI

Cranston, Rhode Island, is a city about five miles south of Providence, in Providence County. It was initially part of the city of Providence, but was divided in 1754 and became a city itself in 1910. Cranston’s 80,000 inhabitants fill an area of just under 30 square miles. Around 4.5 percent of that area is water in the form of the breathtakingly beautiful Providence River.

Pawtuxet Village, which is situated along the Pawtuxet River, is home to several colonial-period structures.
