It pumps over $4.5 billion into the economy annually. Other key employers include the Cape Fear Valley Health System, Wal-Mart, and the local public school system.

The climate in Fayetteville is moderate year-round, making it a wonderful place to live and play. However, summers can be hot with higher levels of humidity.
