South Burlington is a small city in Vermont. Despite its fairly modest population of around 19,000, it’s an important part of the Burlington Metropolitan Area. It’s home to several significant companies and is an attractive place to live for many people in northwestern Vermont.

There are several parks in South Burlington including Red Rocks Park along the shores of Lake Champlain. Veterans Memorial Park is the city’s most well known with recreation areas and greenspace.
The city has four elementary schools, two middle schools, and three high schools. Although there is no higher education in South Burlington, both nearby Burlington and Colchester house universities.
